From yesterday to today: discover our ascension
Our story begins in 2019, when CAREPROD, an audiovisual production company specializing in medical content for the past 7 years, decides to start producing events and integrating innovative video solutions for healthcare professionals.
At the request of Stryker Neurovascular, a US medical device giant, looking for a high-performance assistance solution to train doctors remotely or to help them with complex procedures, our team of experts took on the challenge of creating a mobile, independant system from scratch.
1 year later, in 2020, SKILL Assist™ was born: a customized remote proctoring solution developed for Stryker and which we now market for all healthcare professionals and manufacturers, under our own brand: ORSYNC
SKILL Assist ™
After months of research and development, the SKILL Assist™ solution sees the light of day. 90 kits, developed and assembled in our Montpellier facility, are shipped worldwide. In the first year, over 200 live cases were supported by our solution.
Careprod Technologies
On the strength of this success, and to cope with growing demand, Careprod decided to spin off this branch of activity. This was the birth of Careprod Technologies, a company structured around innovative video solutions. The team continues to develop SKILL Assist and opens up to new specialties by marketing its Remote Proctoring solution under its own brand: ORSYNC.
Orthopedic surgery
The first autonomous use of Orsync was made by Dr. Guillaume Lonjon - spine surgeon - performing a spinal endoscopy for training purposes.
Cardiology
Orsync enters the operating room with its first customer specializing in cardiology.
